Starting Monday, Georgians will have the option to vote early in-person ahead of the November 8 general election.
Early voting will be available for three weeks, from October 17 to Friday, November 4. Election officials are preparing for record turnout as Georgians prepare to decide several blockbuster races.
Races for U.S. Senate, Governor, Attorney General and Secretary of State are among the biggest elections on the ballot. Additionally, all 14 of Georgia’s U.S. House seats and every state legislative seat will be up for grabs.
Voters are able to cast their ballot in any early voting location within their county. They are asked to bring a valid photo identification, such as a driver’s license.
Since the 2020 election, there have been some changes to election laws that may impact how you cast your ballot. Access to ballot dropboxes have been limited, there will now be two Saturdays of early voting, and runoff elections will now take place 4 weeks after the general election rather than 9 weeks.
