I am thrilled to share that Peach State Politics will be entering an exciting new chapter.
Rest assured, you will still be able to count on me and Peach State Politics for your Georgia political fix. But in the coming weeks, you will be able to read my stories and updates on a new platform.
Thanks to a new partnership with the Georgia Recorder, PSP will be working with some of the most experienced journalists at the state capitol to keep readers informed about the upcoming legislative session and the 2026 campaign.
This newsletter and all of my updates will still be delivered to your inboxes. But going forward, you will also be able to find certain stories and analyses on the Recorder’s website — along with the rest of their government and politics coverage.
As our state gears up for another competitive political season, I look forward to working with Jill Nolin, Ross Williams and the entire team at the Recorder to keep everyone in the know about what their state lawmakers are doing day in and day out at the Gold Dome. I am also eager to bring a new audience to the Recorder and to welcome lots of new PSP readers along the way.
I understand how hard it can be to follow political news in a swing state like Georgia. But I have always strived to make things easier for readers to understand — and I hope that this new partnership will help me strengthen that commitment.
I’m excited for the opportunity to work with some of the best and brightest reporters at the state capitol. I look forward to learning from them and from all of you as I aim to be a better writer — and a better person.
Awesome news -- congratulations!!
Please don't neglect covering State Rep. Michelle H. Au, M.D.!
